After the publication of Cauldron of Ghosts and A Call to Duty when can we expect the next books?

The general consensus seems to be 2016 for the next Honorverse book, unless Zahn gets busy. Either way, it'll probably be a couple of years before we see any more Grand Alliance action. (Much to my heartbreak and dismay.) We don't have any official word, but the next book - and the first real chapter of the Grand Alliance's story, as ART and SoF were mere setup in my book - being released in 2016 would also tie in quite nicely with the film release.

(Don't give me that look. I had to wait three bloody years between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix, you can damn well deal with a two-year wait.)

Hell's Foundations Quiver, the next book in the Safehold series, appears to be slated for a late spring 2015 release - which is great for me as I'll probably have just finished the seven prior books before then - and I don't know anything about Bahzell yet because my "to be read" queue is long and frightening right now.

If anyone has any more info, please, chime in!!

My understanding is the the third multiverse book will be the next book finished. this will be followed by the first book of the "Grand Fantasy Opus" set in the war god universe and involving many of the chars we have met through the trails of the bloodhanded one

Current Tales of Honor website (which is an Evergreen run site) says film is slated to release 2017 (not 2016).

Wow! Not one person mentioned House of Lies? I don't know exact dates, but I believe it will be out sometime next year.

Sure, it won't be a full novel, but there will probably be a backstory novella dealing with Haven (maybe... not really sure as that's not in my area of influence).

Maybe by the time the book comes out, I can have already started on Companion (cwhutididthere? ) 3D models for the Peeps and Andies.

And there was a four-year gap between At All Costs and Storm From The Shadows (five if you go by Mission Of Honor as the actual follow-up to AAC); we could be looking at a similiar gap before the next "true" Honorverse novel, i.e. the GA-SL story. All of the spinoffs and ancilliary stuff are nice, but that's not what we're most interested in.

I just wonder if David's deal with Tor is better right now, since it might explain why he's cranking out Safehold novels with nary a follow-up to A Rising Thunder in sight.

I also think that if the movie isn't coming out until 2017, then the next GA-SL book won't be released until then as well, to keep the cross-promotion opportunity.
