Weird Harold the Eurasian is not a gene type it is a mix of them in this case European and Asian blood lines. This dose not made Honor Asian looking in fact the name Honor comes from Latin origin and was used in Europe starting around the 1200s not in Asia. So I say some body like Karen Gillian would make a good Honor. Also in the books it states than she felt she was plane or not good looking, this can be done with make up or the lack of it.

Which is why I said:
A short definition: "Phenotype" is an organism's actual observed properties, such as morphology, development, or behavior. Eurasians do not look "asian" nor do they look "european" -- they generally combine the best features of both. Therefore, any actress chosen to portray Honor should not look asian, european, or any single ethnic background, she should be portrayed by a mixed-race, preferably eurasian, actress. .

Weird Herald phenotype means the properties of a organism as determined by genetic and environment properties, so Honor would look more European than anything else because of her background. I am not saying she would look just European but a blend that is more along those lines than all Asian like has been said by most of the posts I have read here.

That is essentially the point I've been trying to make. Having served three tours in Asia and met more than a few Eurasian children at the various bases where I was stationed, I can attest that "Eurasian" is an easily identified "Type." .

I dunno. I found his response to Duckk's warning to be pretty offensive in itself, to the general subject of these forums, and to the individuals of the community here. |

I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring here without reading the last 207 posts. I say go all Mark Hammil on it and get an unknown!
