Keep in mind that Obama and Senator McCain were supporting these "freedom fighters" in Libya and Syria.

Also keep in mind that Iraq would not have disintegrated into chaos if Obama had been willing to negotiate a status of forces agreement that would maintain a robust US presence in Iraq for an in determinant period of time until a sense of national unity and political stability could evolve as we did in Japan. The US can't afford to fight yet another war to conquer Iraq again nor is it politically feasible.

Now that the US has withdrawn from Iraq, there is very little that the US can do to protect these people from Obama's jihadists. To survive, we must be willing to accept such barbarity occurring with equalmity while we prepare to defend ourselves.

Relating to the topic I've never thought that Islamic Extremists were nice folks, but neither are any extremists.
Latest news from the Central African Republic has a Catholic priest sheltering more than a thousand people in his church and church compound. Apparently the local Christian militia Anti-Balaka has been slaughtering Moslems in village lots with machetes and then mutilating the corpses.

The same type of thing has previously occurred in northern India with Hindu mobs killing Moslems, and the world knows of the current atrocities in Gaza as well.

Nastiness is not confined to any one religion, and victims can also come from any or none. Yet as this priest shows there are also good courageous people as well.

I've had all I can stands, and I can't stands no more! Any religious leader promoting hate and murder should be targeted for elimination IMHO.

Atrocities are in the eye of the beholder.

"Atrocities" are often necessary acts of defense or committed in retaliation for previous atrocities. Many of the more militant are adept at provoking responses that can be presented as atrocities to judgmental, ilinformed observers. Hamas doesn't select schools and hospitals as headquarters, arms caches and missile launching sites because they offer ballistic advantages. Hamas chooses to employ these sites for military operations because they want to provoke a military response from the Israelis that can be exploited for propaganda. They have even sent out goon squads armed with whips to coerce innocent Palestinians to stay in place as human shields when the Israelis warn them to evacuate areas that will be targeted. Some are to credulous to ask why many of the schools in hospitals in Gaza are built with explosives embedded in their concrete walls.

I would point out that while Israel is majority ethnic Jewish, it is an extremely secular society.

Christians, Hindus and even Buhdists have at times retaliated against Muslims or even launched preemptive strikes as the Serbs did after the Bosnians announced their intention to create an Islamic, theocratic state that would subjurgate Serbian Christains. They even imported a cadre of Jihadists from Afghanistan as enforcers. The number of Serbians killed by the NATO
campaign to bomb them into the stone age exceeded the fatalities from Serbian atrocities against Bosnians.

The bottom line is thatnwhile secularists such as NAZIs and Communists were the perpetrators of genocide during the twentieth Century, Muslims are the worst offenders of the twenty-first century. Christians, Hindus, Buhdists and Jews have been intentionally targeted for extermination. Unfortunately; too many politically correct secularists are all to eager to aid them.

I suppose that we are going to blame the Yazidis for their extermination by Isis because they refused to convert?

Hmm going further back in history Mohammad started the convert or die in an expansion stopped in the Pyrenees Mountains, the Crusades were a Christian reaction to this expansion.

Not that Christianity comes off clean either. Simply the world has to stop this shit, and Islam needs to embrace religious freedom and tolerance.
