Actually, I don't recall any lakes except Lake Pei on the safehold maps. It probably could be done by captains with inner circle access to SNARCS. OWL can probable even arrange some thin ice for pursuers -- to keep Pokermind happy. .

It's just something that occured while reading Corris' speculation about what the cargo's on the ice boats likely was.

For sure there are lakes in Siddarmark (Ice Lake, Lake Eris, Lake Langhorne - - -) and I think also in Charis (Lake Lymahn - - -) just to name a few from the Safehold map. R .
