This would free RFC/MWW up for important work like researching and drafting his next book (don't care which of his universes it addresses). Of course that means I would have to have access to the author's draft. Please (adoring puppy eyes).

Good try unfortunately if David Weber, a cat person, can resist pleading kitten eyes I doubt pleading puppy eyes will work ;)

I am sentenced then to wait in ever increasing degrees of frustration  for HFQ because I am not a cat person and have the integrity not to pretend that I am one. Even if the cost of that integrity is such a pearl of great price as an advance copy of HFQ. I understand that there are people out there that do like cats. I just don't share their opinion and differences of opinion are why some people bet on horse races. :)

I would happily volunteer to take the book and assume the task of posting snippets so RFC could constructively use that time elsewhere!!!

He really needs to give you the official Treecat name of: Dispenser of Snippets.

On that subject , no one yet seems to have commented on the last part of RFC's post, "at which time I will be considering when to start snippeting that book in Safehold." (which originally appeared in the Honorverse Forum). Looks like he intends to snippet HFQ here on the forum as with LAMA and so, presumably, not on e.g. Eric Flint's place on the web, as with MTAT. That's good news and bad news; RFC will probably react more to comments here, but the snippets will probably be fewer and more spaced out.

So Drak is the dispenser of snippets... Hey Drak, how bribable are you??

Doesn't matter "how bribable I am".

First, I can't dispense snippets before I get them and the MWW hasn't gotten them to me.

Second, I can't spend a bribe if the MWW sends a hit squad after me.

Third, if I can't survive a Weber hit squad, nobody else would be able to protect me.

What FB page is that? The only one I found hasn't been updated since October 2011.
