An "insured" 6 meter-tall statue.

That's a 4 meter-tall statue on top of an 8 meter-tall pedestal, if I remember correctly.

It was also assumed by the plotters that she would be aboard the vessel carrying Benjamin and Elizabeth for the Blackbird tour, even though she was hardly the primary target.

I'll admit hanuman, that I'm really not sure; what the statue represented grew with each frightened Peep retelling of the Harrington boogeywoman.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

   By the end of the Peep regime, and ESPECIALLY after she pulled off Operation Hellbreak, they probably thought she was a hundred meters tall, wore a string of Peep skulls around her neck, ate Peep babies for a snack and used their femurs as toothpicks...

And don't forget my personal favorite ... 'picked her teeth with light cruisers.'

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. St Just, wasn't it, to whatshername (the female admiral?) when the Peeps first learned of her escape...?

It was Filareta before the Second Battle of Manticore.

"Hell, based on those sources, the woman had to be at least five meters tall, and she probably picked her teeth with a light cruiser!"

Sounds like a game of Clue...

It was Secretary Ester McQueen ADM PRHN (ret) "I don't f[bleep}ing believe this.
And then,
... McQueen replied. "And we're talking about Honor Harrington here, Avram."
"Harrington is not some sort of boogeyman," Saint-Just said in frosty tones. Several people cringed, but McQueen met his cold eyes steadily.
...
"Which is why she is a boogeyman." Pierre sighed. "Or why altogether too many of our people regard her as one. ... "Bottom line, it doesn't really matter whether or not she's some sort of warrior demigoddess if that's what her people think she is."
----
Imagined conversation:
Admiral [noting yet another Manty tech surprise]:
XO, what's the budget for the ONI?
Vice Admiral: I don't recall exactly, sir. Several billion quatloos.
Admiral: ... What do you suppose they did with all that money?
