Just spent a delightful 2 hours watching Monty Python say good bye.
In spite of fluffed or forgotten lines and creaky bones they carried right on with bravura. John Cleese might not be able to do his Funny Walks (with a hip and knee replacement, probably a good idea!), but there was nothing wrong with his memory or sense of timing. For 2 hours they had the audience in the sold out hall (tickets sold out in less then a minute), in the palm of their hands, and then they said good bye. Their last greeting, a Terry Gillam poster; Now Piss Off!!! |

Does this mean that Monty Python will be recognised as being a subset of the Norweigan Blue?

Well seeing that they had a memoriam to Graham Chapman, giving his date of birth and date of death, and had the same for Monty Python, I think it would be a reasonable deduction to presume, that like the unfortunate Norwegian Blue, Monty Python is gone, dead, no more etc., etc… |
