Answer me this, then: why on earth would I want any of these characters to die, given that said dying greatly limits, ah, certain opportunities regarding said characters? ~*~

With Rose on one end and you on the other, as well as the ones who are likely to egg you both on? Either, both or neither. Any way it goes, it is sure to be interesting and entertaining. You two seem to be sparking ideas off of each other. _

Okay, surely I'm not the only one reminded of a Top Gun quote by this passage ... " But you remember one thing: if you screw up just this [pinches fingers for emphasis] much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong!" Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. BOOHOOHOO? You've got oh, a 99.99% chance to get 'up against' those girls, in the locker room with them, watching them nude in the shower, talking shop, fielding questions about the unequal size of their puppies, petting them ... ... Whether or not you'll enjoy it, I don't know. But you've got my envy! Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

I so do not want to discuss the size of women's "puppies". And petting them? Perish the thought... :shudder: |

Well, if we can return to the thread....
I have never been that big a fan of "Field of Dishonor", it is the weakest book in the whole series for me (YMMV). However, the death of Denver Summervale, seen from his viewpoint, was one of the better-written scenes in the series and deserves recording here:

Well, Hutch, if you're going to be that way about it...
Have I posted this passage before? Probably. Ask me if I care.
From On Basilisk Station ...can someone help me find a mop for this drool? ~*~
