I have an issue with the 30th mission as well.
I was not able to kill the BC in quite a lot of tries and the only thing that made sense to me was to try to get it with the First shot boost.
The problem is that if I get First shot and try to change the weapons to Mark13 for the best effect, when I send it the BC rolls and first salvo is wasted...
Is there something I can do about this?
If I just fire the default weapons it goes through (but then I get my ass kicked) but if I spend second or 2 just changing even 1 of the weapons to M13 (or anything else) it gets caught because he rolls...
Do you guys know what I am doing wrong?

The only way I was able to get through this mission was to take the First Shot tactical advantage. I fired a salvo of default penetrators, and then switched to BPL and Nukes. It seems to me you're right; the First Shot doesn't give you enough time to change the loadout, only to immediately fire.

I can usually change 1-2 batteries over to nukes/BPLs and fire them before First Shot ends.

So I beat the 45th level, and there's nothing else coming up, and nowhere to go.

Does this game only have 45 levels?

That is correct. Only thing left is the weekly events, for now.

New levels posted in game flyer. Earliest three weeks.

Thanks Yow. Chapter 4 is actively in development but troubleshooting Androids devices and Live Events took precedence I'm afraid. We have a new bundling system in place as well that should allow us to add more story driven content without having to actually update the app which should allow us to bring more story missions quicker.

Thanks for the patience all!

On First Shot Tactical Advantage Boost. My experience is to leave them alone until the first hit. It's kinda of like sneaking up on someone with a knife in hand because they cannot hear you. Then you switch to your long sword and it goes
shing
Instead of nukes or Mk13s I use a maxed out Disrupter and a maxed out Payload. It's like a mini-Nuke but faster. Also if I've learned the enemy's roll rate and pattern that is when I switch to Nukes and Mk13s.
This is mostly thanks to Norm.bone's weapons analysis spreadsheet ;)
