Best wishes to all the US posters here for their national birthday & holiday.

Believe it or not I do appreciate all your feedback on your national identity on this forum. Won't say it has led to a greater understanding yet (our values and paradigms are too different), but has led to a greater pool of knowledge for me. Have fun, eat and drink too much.

Happy Independence.

We celebrated our non independence 3 days ago.

A long time ago, or so the story goes, my then German Sergeant Grand Father Escaped from an American POW camp on this day. 44 / 45? Something like that.
