I keep hoping to get something good so I keep farming, it is just an android issue? These encounters are tough and I lose a lot but the rewards and shockingly bad most of the time I am out a ton of nukes that I have to go resupply... Any chance you could check into this? I would like a few good component drops at some point please? :?:

After having played the game after completion for a while now, I do have one more thing I would like to see incorporated. Multiple storerooms for components. I am hanging on to a few things that I want to keep on hand, but I would like to be able to organize them in some way. Like one storeroom for my system shields, one for my training hardware, one for my upgrading hardware, etcetera. Or even just a second storeroom that I can transfer the items I want to keep into, so I don't have to search through the 22 items I want to keep for that one blue level item I just acquired from battle.

If I could have it any way I wanted it, the user could create up to 6 additional storerooms, lable them with a name, transfer items between them, and clicking "uninstall" on an item would pull up a window saying, "which storeroom would you like to place this item in?" with a drop down list. Any new items, purchased or won, would still be dropped into the primary storeroom.

Extra store rooms would be nice. Another idea to help would the ability to just sell items directly from the loot crates (so you don't even need to dig through your inventory for that new blue item you just want to sell off)

I would quite appreciate the chance to pick up an Upgrade Item, one that raises the device it is applied to by 1 level (say, over a certain period). Perhaps they could be rated according to how high they can upgrade to, so white = up to L2 max (1 hour), Green to L4 max (2 hours), Blue to L6 max (5 hours), Purple to L8 max (10 hours) and Yellow... well, no upper limit for yellow although it would take a full 24 hours. :D

This would give a new dimension to accumulating resources as you then have to ask yourself do you use the Upgrade you've just picked up on your super-duper weapon enhancer, or do you store it for use on something else...

As for the downside, well, using it would take up a certain amount of upgrade slots, so using a white would be equal to upgrading two items and yellow would be akin to upgrading six items at once... thus limiting what else you can boost while it works... as well as being unaffected by the Bridge device whose name escapes me but cuts down on upgrade time...
After all, why make it too easy...

Umm..when you click on an item, it opens a window, at the bottom of the window, there is a button. Click that button, and it upgrades the item. Unless I am missing something? I really don't see any purpose behind what you are suggesting.

Dude, do you know how long it takes to scavenge 5 million metals to get some decent upgrading done?
Once you start getting the legendary items, the costs just go insane!

Also, it'll give the N00Bs more hope that they can avoid weeks of grinding (poor, deluded recruits...)

Additional edit - Can we please have extra colour schemes or something for our ships? It's be cool to have the Manty flag emblazoned on it...

Yeah, about ten minutes.

This is why the always-online requirement of this game is ridiculous. If you're going to mandate that, then do all calculations that aren't lag-sensitive on the server side. If you're not going to mandate that, don't penalize people for a blip in their connection during the battles.

Alternatively, you get 100 metal/minute from nine generators at maximum. That's a bit under 4 days if you don't do anything else in the game. If you do fight stuff, I *think* the end of sector bosses have the best loot potential, but I need to double check that.

I just had a couple of thoughts.

1. Is anybody from Evergreen still reading this, or have they all gone to that other board?

2. Would it be possible to create some sort of online trading post for items? Where I can set my own prices, or even ask for an item exchange? I mean, I currently have 300 pieces of conduit, and I would be very willing to sell it to a newer user for much less than the outposts sell it. Or my 4500 anti-laser missiles. I could sell my two extra, fully upgraded, purple level boosters for less than the price of the booster+upgrades, but more than I would get by selling it in game, or buy an orange level booster if somebody has an extra. Alternatively, somebody could grind the live missions a few times, grab a couple of the items, and later, sell them to people who missed the live event. I don't know if this would be easy for Evergreen to , but the Pokemon games had something similar.

This is coming awfully close to destroying the profit model of a free to play game. Pokemon games require you to pay up front, usually in the neighborhood of $50. ToH requires nothing. They make their money when someone wants a little more Prestige to get through a battle, or get a Legendary item instantly instead of grinding, or upgrade something now instead of in three days.

Allowing someone else to sell you those items would shift the incentive from a real-world market to an in-game virtual currency one, with an exchange rate for Evergreen of infinity to none.

Good point. I retract part 2 of my last post. Thank you for reminding me that this is an F2P game.
