Great cut-and-pasting skillz there!
It can be difficult to put new characters into an existing picture, I know because I've tried doing it as well for one of my fanfics. I added Superman, Superboy, Talon and Spider-man.

You think I did good see what Zenzmurfy did with my blank background, a modified photo removing the big and small pipe and adding engine room telegraphs for starboard and port engines, with photo manipulation:

IMHO artists do art better than us hacks! :D

While there hit the 'Watch Redraw' to right of pic to see how original sketch was made from blank page.

Would prefer one where she is wearing, what she wears when she is yanking Spanky’s chain! ;)

OK, so I couldn't resist a challenge a Topless Tabby, a heavy modification of Friend Zenzmurfy's art, It's hot in engineering and Tabby is often shirtless, hangs shirt on convenient valve wheel and thus:

What can I say I'm a DOM, Dirty Old Man. :D

The artwork shown in this thread plus several of the comments intrigued me and I finally downloaded the first book and read it.

I quite like it.

As such, I am now working my way through the others with the exception of the most recent one since by the time I finally reach it, the price will probably have dropped.
:D

I am slightly surprised that it isn't a Baen series, though...
It seems to fit in very well with most of Baen's other stuff...

I can't write anywhere near as well as Weber
But I try nonetheless, And even do my own artwork.

Be fair, have you ever tried to find a picture of an angry lemur?
And no, King Julian doesn't count.

My own thought is it's a raccoon.

Another artist's take on Tabby as one of the mice early in the series book 2, Crusade, IIRC where we first meet her.
