I just came across a video of Jim Butcher, author of the Dresden Files, who mentioned he had a story idea for a Manticoran Marine and his trusty treecat "Sarge".

Haha nice. I like Jim's books a lot. He is IMO one of the better active authors out there. Knowing that he is an honorverse fan makes me happy.
