Dad's Army, British comedy set during WW2.
Scene: The platoon are guarding a German sub captain in the Church Hall. Pike (sings): Whistle while you work, Hiyler is a been, he's half barmy, so's his army, whistle while you work. Sub captain: You! What is you name? Captain Mainwaring: Don't tell him Pike! Sub captain: Pike. Thank you. Captain Mainwaring: You stupid boy! (<usually said in most episodes) Other regular comments: Lance Corporal Jones: Permission to speak sir! Private Fraser: We're doomed! Lance Corporal Jones: They don't like it up 'em! |

I was under the impression it was just the movie that they're trying to remake.
Still don't think it will be any good, they'd have been better off creating another unit with it's own characters and calling is a sequel, allowing the new one to be judged more on it's own merits (therebeil always be comparasions, no matter what you say!) |
