Hi KNick,

Could Merlin's holo-imager, what he uses to mask his movements be used to conjure up an 'Ahbraim' near shoulder to shoulder with him, so that a distance walking or some other action, it would confuse or reassure people curious why they never see them together?

Or could it after OWL does some R&D to improve its capabilities?

It'd be a far faster fix than trying to build another PICA when they don't have all the materials for another yet.

These and other questions await in HFQ. ;)

Now wait a minute... We know that Merlin had a bug on Cayleb because he knew about Cayleb telling the others that the Seijin had gone to meet some people and was delayed.

I suspect that if Merlin wants to give the others privacy, and I suspect he does, then he lets OWL monitor the feeds and report anything of concert to Merlin and Nimue. But I would certainly want a bug on all the critical people in the Republic, if for no other reason than to locate them if they were abducted.

There's also the example of how Merlin found out about the documents the Circle sent to Maikel, He said he adjusted things afterward to take the seal of the confessional into account, but that's another example of at least keeping some level of watch on friends.

What if Aivah set up a dead drop in zion? tell her people to gather and leave details of where and when a vicar will be in the open. merlin then can use his super senses and his rifle, to put terror into the vicars. no need for the assasins to get that close, and why not sent some Raikuri back to the Group of 4? merlin could pitch grenades into gunpowder magazines and watch the explosion level buildings.
Could he terrorise the city with a motar weapon?

I would say that given Merlin's struggle with his conscience, it's not gonna happen.
