I just wanted to say thank you for not killing Hektor off. I realize it's a little thing coming from a reader but it really has been a dreaded situation.

See I pre-ordered the book and it arrived after we found out we were pregnant... With twins. So much work to do to get ready that it's been hiding in the Amazon box until I got a phone call 4 months later from the doctor's clinic... Where I could hear my wife keening and screaming and crying in the background. We had lost the babies.

And so lama became something to be feared.

I re read the series and finally picked it up not too long ago. And now I'm done.
