So there have not been any snippets/spoilers lately on the forum. And when there are not snippets/spoilers I get bored. And when I get bored, I do research. Here is what I found. Last year on May 26, 2013, RFC posted LAMA spoiler #11.
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4204 So a year ago we had gotten 11 spoilers on the upcoming Safehold book by this point. As of this year, we only have 3 spoilers for HFQ. I thought the snippets/spoilers were running slow. I didn't realize we were 8 off pace. edited once |

Well, don't forget that David Weber doesn't have to give us snippets.
Of course, thanks to him being behind on finishing LAMA, he may be "behind" on writing HFQ.

I wasn't criticizing RFC. I was just presenting factual, statistical data. Though if he was to give us a barrage of spoilers/snippets to catch us up to last year I *CERTAINLY* would not protest. |

I know you were not criticizing him but sometimes we get people who talk like "Snippets Are A Right".

I look at snippets and am reminded of my (smart) little doggie. If I do something that she really likes (usually involving either a ride or food) it only takes two or three repetitions for it to be an "expectation", accompanied by barking and big brown eyes.
Does that sound like us? |

Yes, we are very much like Pavlov's dogs when it comes to our snippets. |
