What if Canada was a Hard Fantasy land?,

Hi as Canadian I always have issues how my nation the Second landmass in the world seems to left out of some settings like Dark Angel and Red Dawn they left out Canada, We treated as like some mystical land no one really seems to know about then I thought What if Europeans that came to the land of Canada were Fantasy races from Europe Like Elves with are the main race of this land.

I'm taking a page from Xanth using a real place for the fantasy land, also like the Dresden files Magic works like EMP this explain why in Canada we have some much backwards Tech.

Read Tanya Huff's books about the Gale Family.
THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM is set in Alberta.
THE WILD WAYS, there and in Newfoundland.
I recommend both of them.

I think that this is a good idea a Second largest land mass in the world that could have standard fantasy races in it, such as Tolken like Elves and Dwaves.

Still don't get why, but maybe we could have a big fat elf capitalist with a sweat shop located in the northern wastes. Making all sorts of stuff with the best and worst delivery world wide. Only shipped out on one or two days a year. But delivers everything on that one day to everyone. Hmm might work...

What I'm trying to say that this isn't a silly fantasy setting it's about an idea that I've got, the lands name is Arcada yes I now that was a name for some setters that were kicked out of Canada.
