OK, the secret fleet website says that the Android version will be out on the 22nd May, in case those of us with Android devices hadn't noticed.... :D

Also, I've just installed an Android emulator called BlueStacks on my laptop so that I can try and run the game on that too - should be interesting to see how it works on a 17" 1920 x 1080 screen, as compared to my S5's 5" job.

If anyone's interested, I'll report back in this thread if it works & what it's like to play without a touchscreen?

So far, install of BlueStacks was a cinch - it reckoned my video card driver was out of date, which it isn't, but other than that it downloaded and ran without hassle. I just opted to avoid the free game each day....

Unfortunately we hit a little snag. :x

We're trying to fix the problem ASAP but the release has been delayed - SORRY!

Will update ASAP with more news.

I was really looking forward to Secret Fleet being released on Android on the 22nd and was disappointed at the delay. However, I think I would have been even more upset at the release of a bugged and broken app. Kudo's to Evergreen and their programming team for making the undoubtedly difficult decision to push back the release date (apparently at the last minute) in order to ensure a superior product.

(And is 5 days really something to get all that upset about?)
