Agreed. Initially I didn't like reading the scenes involving Clyntahn, or any other of the group of four. Later, I began really enjoying the scenes where Clyntahn responded to setbacks. Now, I even enjoy the scenes where Clyntahn makes plans and anticipates victories, fully expecting that the Charisian Empire will be able to foil them in the fullness of time. During Like a Mighty Army I found myself wishing for Clyntahn to get much more "air time" than he did. What a turnabout!

The snippets are great but I must admit it kind of takes some of the surprise away. I'm going to see if I can contain myself and just wait for the book. We will see how long THAT resolution will last. Lol

I definitely won't complain about these random snippets we are getting every month or so. But I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy when the book is done and RFC starts giving it to us it one bit at a time. I don't see how its a spoiler when you are reading the actual book in order, even if its posted on the forums. Its like a group read/book reading club, except its new for ALL of us. (Cept for drak cause he got an advanced reader copy... bastard...)

Always liked those Clytahn temper tantrum scenes. Also, we are way overdue for a meeting of the full GO4

Can I interpret this as Clyntan has had a stroke and looks like a drooling idiot and can't communicate with anyone?

....and that RFC will write internal monologues from his POV as Duchairn lowers the boom.

But most of all can't wait to see Clintons response to churches losses!

I reread the series the weeks prior to each new book and totally skip the Go4 chapters unless there's a reference I don't remember, don't enjoy them.

It's too bad our esteemed author can't download himself to take advantage of compressed time. I just finished LaMA... while "great progress" is good news, can I borrow someone's time machine?

I am very fond of the Group of Four meetings.
