So far, it's pretty clear to me that the biggest problem with the game is the stores relocking after you unlock them. This happened to me in both of the Heavy Cruiser sectors (the first two, anyway, don't know if there's another after this one).

I opened up the first store, saw some very nice equipment that I could not afford, and went out to collect the plasma needed to make a few purchases, but the store's locked back up and I don't know how to open it again.

Oh darn it, I'm not really into this kind of stuff.
I'll keep hoping in a Steam release sometime in the future!

Thank you very much for the useful (to many) info anyway :)

Welcome aboard, mate. I lurked for three months before surfacing.

I've only played it on an ipad but can empathize with the limited screen space.

Feel free to send constructive criticism to the devs. They have been personally responsive when I've been helpful and polite in my bug reports and nit picks.

I'll second this. They admin remarked that sending screenshots is helpful.

I started sending them screen shots too. Maybe too many :|

I've an Idea Evergreen  when we get around to PvP winning drops come from the players stores

I'd agree with this, but add the caveat that this only applies if the winner is less than a pre-specified level above the loser (say, +10% experience or whatever), otherwise we'll simply end up with a group of high-level trolls specifically targeting low-level players with the intent of cleaning them out.

Not something that would appeal to new players...

If you win. For the low level guys it could be a legendary drop  if you were like me I was sweating the the 6000 hulls. Now that I am in that league it's like "Oh!? We just fired a lot of missiles. What was out there?" "I'm not sure sir but it exploded." "Ok. Um, good job. Carry on."
You could stack low level ships against heavy hulls. Kinda like what happened to me in a glitch I came across...

You're gonna love this one. Remember how some of us asked for multi ship battles and more challenging levels? I settled down for nice bit of fun I call sweeping the solar system for easy kills...

Yow.

Make sure you watch it past the pause.
