Something that has been cooking in the background for a little while now is Gena has been preparing to move on to new opportunities. Gena will be focusing on her own business (https://www.facebook.com/moonkist1designs for the interested), meaning she will no longer be involved in operating this site, nor actively working with the Webers. I will be taking over handling all site duties (which shouldn't really come as much of a surprise, as this has happened unofficially a while ago), while Sharon will handle the online store, among other things.

She's been invaluable not only to the Webers, but also to those who had the opportunity to work with her. I think aeveryone who met her at Honorcon can appreciate the energy and attention she brought to the proceedings. We all wish you the best of luck Gena!

Absolutely. Gena's been an important part of our personal and professional lives for over 11 years now --- since the month our son Michael Paul was born, and he'll be 12 in December. We've relied on her for that entire time to keep us out of trouble for that entire time, and people who have spent time on the forum or who have been aware of all she's done for BuNine and Honorcon should realize (at least partially) how important she's been to us. We hate to see her go, and we're not going to let go of her entirely. She's still a part of our family, and Sharon and I travel, she'll still be the one we trust to look after the kids for us.

She's been the sort of person you are luckier than you deserve to know, and there are going to be a few damp eyes in the Weber household. But not as many damp eyes as there will be smiles when she walks back in for a visit.

All I can say is good luck to her. She was always positive and nice in her correspondence.
