not necessarily, but it wouldn’t have an Oxygen cycle. Still that’s not a bad thing. The rich CO2 atmosphere would give Terran plants a lot of help in taking hold. Soil nutrients would have to be added to the soil and probably the water but the plants/algae would take care of starting the O2/CO2 cycle.SWM wrote:However, an empty planet also imposes significant hurdles for colonization.
