He didn't receive prolong and so I would've thought he would've passed on by this point in the series.

He did pass away, depending on which book in HoS he died in 1913 PD in AoV it looks more like 1914 PD because Scotty and Harkness are talking about sending a report that would land on his desk.

So he was still alive before Honor's capture but passed away after she returned?

Trying to remember but can't pull it out of 'puters...damage...control runs...need...help.

Honorverse Jeopardy.
Take correct answer for a thousand-thanks.

In this battle Honor's sail plane plaque got slightly damaged and burned.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

According to the wiki, citing HoS, Jonas Adcock died in 1913 shortly before the Battle of Barnett.

Yep. Here's the quote
On Basilisk Station wrote:For a time, Honor had believed her crew would follow Sirius's into death. Most of Fearless's life support was down, [... snip...] Her own quarters had taken a direct hit that left them without pressure for over six hours. Only Nimitz's shielded life-support module had saved him, and her sailplane plaque was heat-warped and twisted, one corner blown completely away. It had been that close for Nimitz, and she reached up to touch the treecat yet again, reassuring herself of his survival.
(The warped plaque also gets a passing mention in HotQ)

Thanks, her mentioning him threw me off for a bit because I thought he had already died by that point. I wasn't certain how old he was by the end of HoS and so didn't have a good idea of how long he was likely to live into the main HH books.

You know, I have always wondered. It has to be in the form of a question, but does the question have to make sense? Would "How much was First Basilisk" be an acceptable response? :D :D
