Doh!
Forgot about Eloise's treecat name. Michelle's treecat name would be 'Amorous.' Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

I have been hoping that Sharp Claw (Eloise's treecat bodyguard) and Springs From Above (Tom Theisman's treecat bodyguard) might do some matchmaking to bring together Tom & Eloise.
I have been wondering what the Smutsies (Haven's equivalent of the paparazzi)are going to say about all these treecat bodyguards. In At All Costs Tom Theisman thought that "some of the Stories about Elizabeth III and her alleged .....relations with her treecat, for example, had been decidedly over the top.Not to mention, he felt sure, anatomically impossible."
Still holding out for Tom and Eloise to get adopted. Just you watch - there's going to be a rash of Havenite adoptees in the next few years. Really, Eloise is basically Elizabeth's counterpart - except for that one thing *sob* - and she's ripe for adoption. She's been picked up and smashed against the cliffs of pain and despair for nearly eighteen months by this point, and that doesn't include the, oh, four or five decades before that!! And it's only in the last six months that she's finally been given this beacon of light for her Republic. And Tom Theisman is obviously Honor's. His name's goddamn Dreams of Peace, for Christ's sake - I'm just surprised he hasn't been adopted before this! Just you wait. The treecats will get Haven's government under their furry paws and bring sanity to the known galaxy. Sanity and matchmaking! (And pain and suffering to the Alignment. Lots of pain and suffering. Like, of the "untold millennia in indescribable pain and despair" suffering.)
|

I am beginning to think a certain CEO of the Cupists need rehabilitating.
Quickly rose. Vial. Chant. I think it's too late. But try! You've been nicked for sure. Or did you just plain stick your damn self? Then broke arrow off and pushed thru like old westerns. Tom and Eloise need matchmaking treecats. I mean, it's kind of hard to ignore your feelings for someone when your furry bodyguard-slash-advisor is patiently telling you over and over again that you're completely missing the obvious. (And it is obvious. Not that she'll ever stop loving you-know-who - he was her bloody soul mate, after all - but you-know-who would be the first in line to tell her to wake up and smell the in-love Secretary of War. I'm sure the smutsies will have plenty to say about the prospect of treecat bodyguards. Tom and Honor are going to have to remind Eloise very firmly that her days of assassination are over. Also she's the President and there's that whole pesky "freedom of speech/the press" thing that she can't really violate without undermining the Constitution she spent decades fighting for. But this is Eloise, after all.... ~*~
I forgot about the treecat bodyguards. Perhaps a late treecat bonding or two may happen there ...like what happened with Rachel. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. I could say that I did everything in my power to avoid getting struck with that particular arrow. ...but I'd be lying. Actually, I blame Allen. If he didn't exist, I wouldn't need him to get laid. Or to get him laid. In fact, I wouldn't be in this conundrum at all. ...that would suck. ~*~

We are not suppose to get involved with our charges. They threatened to place me on half-pay because of Abby. But, she's worth it. Grayson girls have long hair long dresses long lines. You're CEO of Cupid. And they say you rose to the top fast. Just couldn't resist that. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense.
