Its more funny than important but I bet the sandwich will be reinvented as the bahrns after Captain Bahrns of the HMS Delthak. To go from the food of a card player to that of a harried naval captain. Got to love how RFC can rework things with a different twist.

Nitpick, the 4th Earl of Sandwich was 1st Lord of the Admiralty, and one story I heard is that rather than spending all his time at the gaming tables, John Montague spent extra hours at the Admiralty doing work, and the sandwich was derived from his meals there consisting of bread and cold meats/cheeses delivered to his office after hours.

Hi Incognitia,

You did.

Earlier in LaMA, we had the late night meeting in September when General Symkyn arrives where all were enjoying sandwiches, 'fried potato slices' not chips or french fries, ;) and their favorite non-simulated beverages.

I think there have been mentions of various characters eating a sandwich because they didn't have time for something more.

Addendum: The meeting was at the beginning of September, so it was after Bahrns' meeting with Cayleb, but the context implies sandwiches were very well known before Bahrns.
