I can't see Detweiler tolerating too much attitude from anyone. His scenes with Aldona and Isabel show a little too much willingness to shoot the messenger-- or at least, a distinct lack of ability to deal with inevitable setbacks. Not every operation is going to go right, and making them defend their continued existence over one failed op makes me think he'd prefer a cat that wouldn't have a mind of it's own. Eloise, on the other hand, I feel needs a playful, sweet cat that makes her forget her troubles. It likes laying around on her lap while she plows through paperwork... |

...and starts purring up a storm whenever Elizabeth, Tom, Honor, Denis, or Leslie comes into the room. You know who else needs a cat? Dame Estelle. She needs a little Singapura that can ride on her shoulder and keep her company in her office. ~*~

Dicey seems to have whipped Adm Henke into submission. |

...thanks for the reminder of just how desperately I love Michelle Henke. Really. I totally love the gaping hole in my chest caused by lack of further TQ action. Speaking of Lady Gold Peak, I wonder what her hobbies might include? And no, I'm not talking about Doughnut Keep-away. ~*~

She strikes me as a party girl. Likes to go out, likes to chill with friends and a good beer, probably loves watching sports. Beach barbecues are on top of her list, right underneath blowing things up.
(WTF is doughnut keep-away? Or am I too young to know?) |

I seem to recall that Henke is about opposite of Honor in regards to her relationships with men. This is why I visualize Queen Elizebeth as Halle Berry and Adm Henke as Pam Grier. |

There is one particular scene in (I believe) SftS in which Michelle attempts to keep Dicey away from her doughnut and fails. It's quite amusing - to us, that is. Not to Michelle. ~*~

Oh, thank god. After the Cupid thread, I thought you were referring to some of her shore-leave activities!
