Was just re-reading HFAF, April YOG 895 Chapter IV.
It mentions that all of her accounts with the house of Qwentyn were established over two decades ago, but Aivah appears to be no more than 35 years old. That can suggest one or more possibilities. 1) She is considerably older than 35... Maybe 135... 2) She is part of a multigenerational group opposed to the corruption in the church. Perhaps, she is a descendent of one of the archangels that has access to some TF tech.. |

Her cousin Adorai (the Archbishop's widow) remembered knowing her as a very small child, so she can't be 135 years old. But while she "appears to be no more than 35 years old" she is an expert at disguises. Looking young and beautiful would have been important in her previous career. I'd say she's likely to be at least forty years old.
The "multigenerational group" thing may be a possibility, though. |

In addition, she was young when she started earning money. She could have been investing before she turned 20. --------------------------------------------

In BSRA June YOG 892 Chapter V it is written as a fact :
"At forty-five, her own working days were behind her, although she retained the slender figure and much of the ravishing beauty which had made her so successful before..." So this would mean she was born in 846. In HFAF April 895 Chapter IV, it is implied Aivah opened her first accounts in the house of Qwentyn by courier in 873. She would have been 27 (Safehold) years old. She is 50 beginning of 897 but still impresses Merlin !!! |

Well, since he's over 900 years old... He's robbing the cradle with her.

The memory could have been planted with Fed Tech. the "factual statements" are her thinking about herself in that persona. |

Wouln't Merlin be shocked is she parte her hair and showed him a properly implanted NEAT interface? That would sure be an unexpectd twist to the story, wouldn't it?
Don When any group seeks political power in God's name, both religion and politics are instantly corrupted.

Actually it's canon that Fed Tech cannot implant knowledge or presumably memories into your head without a NEAT.
One doubts that the friend has a NEAT. Also, you need to implant one while one is a child, you can't implant one as an adult - I believe RFC said this at one point. Thus, no memory alteration. Aivah is not an immortal puppetmaster, a PICA, or the tooth fairy. (Sorry, but this push to make her some sort of uber-speshul thing is getting on my nerves, a bit. It's like people can't accept someone as simply uber-smart.) |

Yep. It's canon that she is 50, Adorai remembers her as a child as corroboration. Her Grand Vicar father got rid of her ASAP so he didn't leave her super-secret TF Tech. It's a dead horse. |
