For us to be engineered makes more sense than the current evolutionary model.

So, hang on, despite conclusive evidence that we humans are related to a bunch of apes and monkeys, despite us sharing large parts of our genome with a lot of species all over this world, you still think that we came from Mars? Unless you want to claim that our ancestors performed a mass transplant of pretty much the entire biosphere (taking care to leave all sorts of transitional fossils behind as well), including apes and monkeys, I think that belief of yours is thoroughly debunked.

Earth is the only planet to have plate tectonics

Really? There is at least some evidence that both Mars and Venus had them in the past, and pretty strong evidence that Titan has them as well. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plate_tec ... C_moons.29

I agree that we didn't come from monkeys or gorillas, and no sensible scientist has claimed that. That we came from a common ancestor shared with them is beyond doubt. There is so much DNA evidence to augment the fossil evidence, that if it were presented to an intelligent impartial jury in a court room it would be completely accepted.
Why would you accept the "engineered" hypothesis without a single piece of possible proof, yet dismiss the enormous volume of evolutionary evidence that all fits together? As to Mars, why would you think we came from a planet that would kill us in a moment, yet not from Earth that we are clearly suited to?

He already told you, he doesn't know. And, of course, he can't know, because all the evidence that proves his hypothesis has been either lost through time or buried by a conspiracy. Which is certainly convenient for him and all the other "alternate scientists", as it frees them from such pesky nuisances like "proof".

In the July 2013 issue of National Geographic, there is an info graphic which shows the amount of DNA we share with other species.

Humans share 24% of their DNA with grapes and rice, 47% with a Fruit Fly and 54% with a Sea Anemone. The Platypus is obviously from another planet, since it shares 69% of its DNA with us while the Zebrafish shares 73% of its DNA with humans.

Mice are closer relatives than Cows or Dogs (88%, 85% and 84% respectively).

So when you open a bottle of wine or sit down to some stir fry on a bed of rice, consider that you are consuming some distant relatives....(heh)

Just as a little footnote in regards to shared DNA, a few years back there was some commotion caused by folks looking backwards at how various DNAs seemed to have evolved over time.

The thing about humans having monkey heritage is often mentioned, but these people realised that that was incorrect.
It´s chimps, monkeys and the like that have human heritage.
Humans isn´t the branching, we´re the origin from which monkeys branched off.

Wow! I think this is example of terrestrial design based UFO design because it appears to have vertical fins/rudder. Now, if you don't believe it's real...no problem...but don't say it's been doctored without some knowledge and experience with this video and video editing software. Hopefully, some fellow people within the forum have some expertise and can see if it's real or not.

Now, I posted this in a different place in the forum. As far as this video goes if it's a real ufo, I think it was designed by Man as a copy of a extraterrestrial vehicle. I freely admit that this could be a fake or something else...I do not know!

I'm Sorry but linking yo a page showing a couple of Discovery channel CGI clips doesn't count as proof

And before you say anything yes I do believe in extra terrestrial life, my doubt is that if any species had spent the effort and resources to come to earth that they would either A) Build the pyramids and leave (ancient) or B) spend their time probing drunken rednecks

Have you read most of posts? I thought not! What I wanted to know was if the video has been edited or their using some type of movie magic. I do not know if this is real or a fake! If this video is real, then I think this man made vehicle rather than ET type craft. The reason I think it's man made is the 2 vertical rudders on the top of the vehicle. (I still do not know if this video is real or fake!)

Now, I got this link off the Huffington Post.

Is that video fake? I don't know, but I strongly suspect that that is the case.

Reasons:
1. The camerawork looks like an emulation of handheld movement, but is very smooth, with defined acceleration/deceleration in most movements. Real handheld shots tend to be more jittery.
2. The focus effects. The camera goes in and out of focus pretty much at random.

I have to agree my first instinct was that the video was a fake. The camera seemed to be in a close up shot of the Ufo and I can not see any type of background in the video. I thought the UFO was some type of mode1.
