I think we can all assume that Michelle has (mostly) forgiven Lester for Zanzibar by now.

All other things being equal, if Michelle Henke is going to fall in love with anyone, I'd have to say Lester Tourville is one of the most likely candidates you're going to find.

And she was bored because Cachat was always playing chess with Zilwicki. I wonder what she wanted to do.

And here's the kicker. She actually played the role of his girlfriend on Mesa. Now they had to make it look genuine!
Especially if lives depended on it.

How does that work anyway? If somone remarries one of Grayson's widowed wives, does he automatically inherit the others as well? Or do they have the freedom to choose?

Willie is married, per RFC. He tried to introduce his wife in an earlier book but she didn't fit into the plot. Sorry!

At this point, my thoughts are turning toward the younger generation. Miss Midshipwoman Mayhew, anyone? And wouldn't a Grayson-Haven marriage be an interesting event??
