Specultion where is the Archangles technolgy stored?

We have speculated on what's in the basement of the temple, I wonder where the surviving Archangels stored their advanced technology, their resonance skimmers, and advanced weapons and technology? In the basement of their temple home or, might there be yet another 'bat cave' on Safehold with powered down technical wonders?

I have postulated that there might be another stash in the Desolation Mountains. Such a stash would be for another, non-CoGA, faction. There are heavy iron deposits to mask any readings there just as there was to hide Nimue's cave.

Textev does not give much in the way of the War Against the Fallen. The Church side seems to have won decisively but there had to be some tech hidden elsewhere besides Nimue's Cave. Nimue was stashed prior to that conflagration.

So I would think since Monastaries, Abbies and Convents have the long term stability to have such things you would find them there. Hard to maintain over time though. Non church maintenance of tech would be exceptionally difficult without a dynastic/familial situation to support it. (Wylsynn's)

But it seems something like that would surface in the storyline in the next book. (this fall I hope)

I know that the Operation Ark fleet was destroyed once the colony was established. While it's been discussed in another thread, I can't remember if the ship Langhorne used to build the Rakurai was accounted for. If it was still around after the War of the Fallen then Langhorne's heirs might have decided to hedge their bets and just stash it in the asteroid belt. Only the returning Archangels would know of it's existence, so there would be no danger of contamination.

I've always wondered who was fighting since the good guys got pretty well spanked. I've always thought that the victors "argued" over the spoils- and that those losing victors became "The Fallen" since the winner writes the history.

RFC has stated that the Hamilton (Langhorne's ship, and the one which build the Rakurai) is gone. He declined to explain exactly what had happened to it.

IIRC David Weber has said that the "War Against The Fallen" was between supporters of Langhorne.

Since storing high tech devices for long periods of time could be problematic, it occurs to me that the technology of the Archangels is stored right under everyone's nose, in the Key of Schuler.

It was noted the Key was a very large information storage device (sort of a super-sized portable hard drive or USB key), so perhaps it is actually a library of technological devices. Since the programers probably did not have the same scruples/plan that Merlin has to get people to think for themselves, the Key may have a series of "recipes" to rapidly build the tools to make the tools and then on to the actual devices, without the builders getting to learn a great deal of what is actually going on.

It is actually relatively simple to do this, and a lot of technology in the past was essentially handed down from master to apprentice without change; only a small number of apprentices would try to experiment with the "recipe" they learned from their master (and truthfully, only a very few of those would actually come up with a viable improvement).

The finished products would have the Numinous properties of the "One Ring", and perhaps even be imbued with some self awareness (similar to OWL) so they would not need the locals to function (except perhaps to carry the ark containing them to wherever it was needed to carry out its task).

WHat if instead of buried under a mountain, they simply sank it beneath the waves? with the sealife, it would require allot to saafely reach anything hidden down there. They could even have hidden beneath the polar ice.
