...of course you do.  Truthfully, I don't think so, simply because of Honor's Issues - but I do have my suspicions regarding Mike's feelings for her best friend. ~*~

I believe it is mentioned in War of Honor and At All Costs that Mike has an impressive harem of guys on the Nike. Despite Namelessfly's dreams, it is implied that Mike is straight.   Cup of tea? Yes, please.

I don't think there are any romantic overtones emanating from either Honor or Michelle towards the other.
I'd like there to be...blame it on the soap operas I watched while at Uni. I lived off campus in a very large old style tudor home that was rented out. I am male but I couldn't get other males to pay their rent. Girls did. So, even though I am male I ended up with four girls living in an off-campus setup for the better part of three years. Their was only one TV, and during the day one of the girls was always in, mostly, and they always watched soaps. I could handle the remote during those times, but if I actually engaged a button. I die! So. I am a guy whom watched soaps. This is where I get my feel for foul-ball relationships. Honor and Michelle were just lucky enough to find someone whom they could stomach! Can you imagine someone as lofty born as Michelle in college? Difficult for her to find true friends would be a gross libel to understatements. What man wouldn't be intimidated? And any female friend could have just wanted to climb the social ladder. Along comes Honor whom we know respected the lofty born but was content with whom she was. Rare! They are just two very good friends. But anything could happen on a Stilty pipe! Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. I am surprised you two haven't been in Multiverse eagerly awaiting the next one in that series. Of all RFC's series, that one best satisfies my occasional craving for romance stories. That and Kim Harrison pretty much hit the spot for me. |
