Of all the people still in the RHN, Shannon has had the most interaction with 'cats. Nimitz likes her and thinks well of her. She is one of the few people outside of the SEM who already thinks of them as people. Her meeting with her bodyguard is likely to be anticlimactic, as she will probably say something along the lines of "Hello, nice to meet you."

She's going to totally geek out learning TSL, though. Seriously, she'll love it.

Either that, or she will hate it, not be able to get the hang of it, and cobble together a small device that autimaticly translates TSL to spoken English.

Well, the "Republic" of Monica is run by hereditary president-for-life Roberto Tyler, the third of his dynasty. Bill are you sure we've seen the last of the Republic of Monica though - they've been beanted and humiliated, could see them coming back stronger than before for revenge of a sort. Think Germany after WWI, came back after a beating and we had WWII, when the rest of the world thought we'd heard the last of them.

I can imagine either of them like Wile E. Coyote, and when bolthole becomes stocked with joint technology. It will then be like Wile E. Coyote inside ACME!

Monica is sitting in the mix of the action around and between Talbott and the SL. Monica has been humiliated by Manticore and lost a lot in terms of things President Tyler cares about. It still has capaisty to at least repair SLN types of ships. It was also a renter of mercenary troops to othe systems and/or OFS so there probably is still that asset available. While we probably won't see a home grown or Alignment fermented uprising there, we can expect that Tyler would be happy to get paid by FF/BF for all sorts of things and inflict some pain on Manticore- particularly if he doesn't think he will get identified as the actual source.
There is a flaw in that type of thinking for President Tyler…..right after the SL starts something like active commerce raiding- and the area in and around Talbott is the natural place for that- I expect SEM is going to take the attitude that if you support SLN in this (like being a logistic node or just R&R area) a force is going to show up to eliminate your system's capasity to do that.
SEM left Monica's orbital infrastructure mostly intact. Next time they can just blast andy SLN assets in the system and give Monica an hour or so to evacuate ALL the stations then blow them. Why don't you ask the SL and SLN for the replacements and aid?

Can anyone tell me all of the courses taken? Was it listed somewhere? Perhaps in Saganami Island? The courses anyways, not the scores. Whom do you think were the highest overall scorers?

Think White Haven outscored Honor?
Alice Truman? Oversteegen? Etc.

Does anyone know anyone who knows someone whom can look at the scores?

I want to know if Andrea Jaruwalski ever got to go through the Crusher. I know she's basically glued to Honor's side at this point, and I'm not about to split them up, but I think it would be a great confidence booster for her.
