I hereby nominate every word that has ever come out of Tom Theisman's mouth.

It is difficult to love your enemies but we must sometimes remember that our enemies are people too.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

Of course, it was Mike Henke set him up for that one. God bless her and her furry purple slippers.

I haven't read this whole monster of a thread so I'm bound to repeat some, but there's definitely bunches of quotes, so I'll try to restrict myself to maybe 5. Which I'll also undoubtedly misquote because I'm too lazy to go look them up properly.

"There won't be six when we're done." Edward Saganami makes me read an entire series of books by being awesome.

"I was the one who thought it up. That's why I had to be here." Abigail Hearns fights to the last with Mateo Gutierrez atop a no-name hill on a backwater planet that nobody really cares about.

<We understand that, Laughs Brightly, but at least allow us the illusion that the vote of all the rest of the People in the world matters just a bit> - Changer of Worlds. Wind of Memory knows that arguing with Nimitz and Samantha is simply not going to work.

"The hole would have been a hell of a lot deeper." Helen Zilwicki knows her Dad didn't blow up that city. Because there's too much city left.

"Why is is that people like you always think you're more ruthless than people like me?" - Aivars Terekhov is way scarier than the Solarians could possibly know.

Who cares if you repeat. That's what this is about isn't it? One liners so awesome they bear repeating!

And I like your taste.

How about:

I wouldn't want him to wonder why he's being kicked out an airlock with out a skinsuit.

saber964.
I often wonder what it's like to be kicked out of an airlock without a skinsuit.

Now I know it isn't anything like the effects of being tossed out into the airless atmosphere that was Thunderdome...eyes bulging, etc...but it is the imagery that it evokes.
