Bringing this forward once again for the new people on the forums. So far, just over six per cent have voted. I hope to get a few more.

It would be nice if those who were willing would go to

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Profile

and add their location to their sign in.

It would be nice also if the newcomers voted for either/or both of the series that they read.

Still hoping for more people to sign in with their home or current location.

Time once more to bring this survey back to the forefront. Every time I do so, more members respond. Hopefully, that will continue.

Lots of new people have joined in because of the Honorverse Graphic Novel announcement. Hopefully some will find their way here.

Still hoping for more people to sign in with their home or current location. Knowing where someone is from helps me to respond more thoughtfully to their posts. It helps me to tailor my language to include fuller explanations than I would use for someone from the US.

Could location be made mandatory?
With "Lost Somewhere" as the default?

There are reasons people don't want to put down their country of origin. Fear of touching off political arguments that they would rather not get involved in being the first one that springs to mind.

That said, for me, the fact that I know someone is from somewhere in the EU carries more weight with me than the opinion of someone who lives in the US.
