This is a notable one-liner that came out of the mouth of Houseman. I know
But I like it anyways. "...war was simply the continuation of diplomacy by non-diplomatic means." Again, same argument, same jackass. But of course I am certain we all enjoyed the treatise delivered unto him after that remark. 'Honor of The Queen.' Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

The treatise was absolutely delightful. I especially enjoyed the part where Honor's fist plowed into his face. ~*~

Love that line. MWW writes poetic Prose. "When you talk about damage radius, even atomic weapons pale before that of an unfettered idiot in a position of power." Sam Starfall |

All of my favorites were listed on the first page or two, Opps is clearly number one though.
Close second is "why do people like you always think you are more ruthless then people by me". I frigging love Aivars, he is an awesome character, that you could easily see being one of the most terrifying villains ever. Honor always feels bad after the fact, I don't think Aivars loses a wink of sleep of what he does. |

Of course, that's simply a paraphrase of Clausewitz, so it's hardly original. As Honor points out shortly thereafter. |

http://timewyrm.deviantart.com/art/Goodbye-Citizen-Chairman-352308078 A good one liner, what's wrong with pic? Admiral Thomas Theisman is not in body armor but in uniform, still gives the gist of the scene. Poker CPO Poker Mind and, Mangy Fur the Smart Alick Spacecat.

Commander Yannosh,
Thanks. I have got to visit that passage again. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Pokermind, Fleet Admiral, SIR!!
I simply love that line. And I can empathize with the pain Theisman felt having to do it. And for the fact that it had to be done. Don't need Nimitz' empathic sense at all. . Last edited by cthia on Wed Aug 19, 2015 8:12 am, edited 1 time in total.
