For those who only post on the Safehold forum:

It would be nice if those who were willing would go to

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Profile

and add their location to their signin.

Sometimes knowing that the person you are responding to in a discussion is from a different country will lead you to attempt a fuller explanation of your thoughts. Knowing that they don't have the same view of such things as political maneuvering may add to your own ideas on a topic. Just as a for instance: the parliamentary system used in the Honorverse. As a US citizen, I have never been involved with a process that involves 4 or 6 or 8 different parties working together. Someone from France or Germany lives with that system. The United Kingdom has "colonies" around the world, answering, sort of, to the Queen or King. Again, different experiences. All of those differences reflect in how they respond. For me, it is simply a way to avoid unnecessary ruffled feathers.

If its justified, it becomes taking reasonable precautions..... :D
such as knowing not to guess how RFC will finish a book, as there will always be a twist we didnt think of.
