Note only minor differences between fans of Honorverse and Safehold and none in median and mode. If you're in you forties you are a typical fan on these forums.

Currently almost 30. Started in the Weberverse (also Honorverse) at 16 while at summer camp. In one week i devoured the first 2 book during every moment of 'downtime'the we were allowed. I didn't even find them myself, but borrowed them from a friend.

Oooh a Gallery fan. I read them ages ago ... and loved them, urm ... mostly when I was in high school, in the 1960s. I notice they are available, some used, some still in print, variously reasonable to not so, at amazon. Very worth reading to those who haven't. And very funny,... well, some of them. Some are not intended to be funny and they are not. :D

Lent "Basilisk Station" from a friend, got hooked and bought my very first own copy of "Short victorious war" (Honor of the queen was out of stock) soon after ...

On the other hand, I loaned a paperback copy of OBS to a friend before I sent it to the used book store. 40 books later, he still cusses at me when I run into him.
