Seriously though, if the theory is that if more girls are involved there will be more boys who want to join in too is totally broken. Apparently I'm scary to boys. At least some of them anyway.

Heck, even at jiu jitsu half the boys seem like they're scared of me. If I really am a scary alien who's out to get you then you're actually allowed to choke me silly!

I'm sorry to disagree. Boys don't figure anything out. Girls teach them how to behave. Some times it take a clue stick, some times it takes a cue stick and some times it takes a ten pound sledgehammer.

It would be nice if those who were willing would go to

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Profile

and add their location to their sign in.

It would be nice also if the newcomers voted for either/or both of the series that they read.

Every time I bring this thread forward, a couple of middies add their location and vote in the poll. Then a couple of the old salts actually admit that they aren't homeless and put down their home location. So far, about 6% of the total number of registered users have voted, but it is a very high percentage of the regular posters.

Time to bring this forward so the new people know where it is.

I know that there are some new Australians and New Zealanders joining the forums. Let us know you are out there. After all, there are a lot of you.

My thanks, Top. At times I think the members from the British Empire outnumber us. They seem to be more willing to admit they are from some country in the "Empire the Sun never set on". Of course, since that gives them a lot more countries to be from, it might be true.

Considering how long ago OBS came out is there any interest in knowing how old we were when we first hooked into the series?
