I've just binge read this series, did no5 1st then 1 to 5 again, and am hanging for continuation. Really bad place to leave with out an immediate follow-up.
Read fantasy mostly ie Gemmell, Fiest, Eddings etc and this is up there with them.

[insert James Franco "First Time?" meme]
You'll get used to the waiting. I found his books in 2002, when I was a freshman in high school. He had only published two War God books then. Oath was published in 1995. In 20 years (2015, SotS) he's written five books, with the biggest gap between books being about 8 years. In fact, in about seven weeks, we will hit the biggest time difference between any consecutive War God books (current is 8 years, 2 months, and 2 days, AKA 2985 days, between WRO and WMC; we hit 2986 on 18 September 2023). And he still said he had a list of projects to do before he even starts writing the next Bahzell book. |
