In the fall alot of stuff was lost, potentially even destroyed when the wiz\rd council burned the lands to the ground. There have been alsorts of time travel ideas on thei site, but what about htis one. Someone went back to just before the destruction, and stole alot of useful gear or material. We know the imperial throne had 3 very important artifacts, a sword, crown and harp. But his was a might magical empire, thousands of years old. There must be numerous magical relics and treasures created over the centuries.

Well, I believe that the strafing was destructive enough to melt mountains, so anything not rescued in such a way is going to be lost.....

it is just that one of the good gods is a trickster and a god of thievees, so the ida that a bunch of stuff believed to have been destroyed, but instead stolen to safety, seems cool.
