The following stores show on-hands (some of which may be on hold for pre-orders)! Remember that the book does not have a SOS (Strict on Sale) date, but rather it is a soft release, meaning they can sell it right out of the box. But some employees (new, seasonal, idiots.. etc) may not be familiar with soft releases and see the pub date and claim it's not available yet. Be nice to them (no yelling) but get your copies. :D

Sigh... Southlake, TX always seems to get it later than anyone else.

Though I supposed I should really wait. I've already pre-ordered the Kindle edition (long ago, actually), but if were able to walk into B&N in Southlake on the way home I doubt I'd be able to resist and wind up getting both.

No B&N near me but we do have a booksamillion near by. They have 3 copies in Dalton Ga. but refuse to sell them until the release date. Bringing up soft sales as they arrive was a non starter with the manager she said they are under strict orders not to sell until the release date.

if anyone finds a kindle version you can buy before the release date please let me know.

That BaM manager is just being contrary. The was no such instruction. My position in the store is one that works with publishers daily. Sorry they where feeling ornery and you didn't get your book.

So my "see more stores" is limiting me to the closest 20. That's why you're seeing only GA, FL, TN, AL, N&SC, and VA from today's update. Further north and west will also have a lot of stores as well. Keeping that in mind I got to talking to DC Services and the first shipments are out there. Your local store most likely either has it (may not have been scanned yet and be still in the box) or they will get it today. So if your local store's receiving team is staying caught up or mostly caught up you should see them on the shelf today or tomorrow.
