(Let''s see how many old earth stories we can repurpose into Seijin Khody myths. Gets into character)
Fellow safeholdians, we all grew up on stories of Seijin Khody. What were your favorite ones?
I think my favorite Seijin Khody stories are the ones where the local magistrate is sick and Seijin Khody is called in to be a judge. Remember this one?
A student lived over a baker's shop. The student was poor, and could not afford to live over the shop, but every morning, he got up and ate his plain rice while the baker was making fresh bread. As he told the baker, the smell of the bread made the rice taste delicious.
The baker was outraged. He went to Seijin Khody and demanded that the student be charged for the smell of his bread. Seijin Khody, shrugged, and told the student, "Give me all your money." Distraught, the student did. Seijin Khody started clinking the coins in his hand. "You have now been paid." He informed the baker. "What? How?" The baker asked. Seijin Khody replied, "you have been paid for the smell of your bread...with the sound of his money." All the townspeople nodded and remarked upon how justice as done. The good Seijin then took the poor student out for a beer, and they celebrated far into the night.
