So as the last snippet our favorite author mentioned he was going to get a pacemaker put in around the 28th of may. Today would be the first day I might expect him to make an appearance.

How's the adjustment going?

Wishing DW a speedy recovery!

There is no problem so complex that it cannot be solved through the judicious application of high-power explosives.

I have been wondering about progress with the pacemaker.

Does anyone have actual information about the present situation. Health issues can develop complications and/or delays.

A good friend of ours had one installed about 3 years ago. We had dinner with him and his wife last week and I asked how it was working out. He said he wasn't aware of it ever actually having to work. He goes back a couple times a year for the doctors to check that it's functioning and that there's never been a problem. I asked if the installation had been painful and he replied he didn't remember much about it but it had been "no big deal".
Hopefully RFC's experience will be similar to my friend's.
