Anyone note the cover of HFQ showing on Amazon? A skimmer/assault craft firing on a sailing ship?

Cover artists rarely get the input from the author as to what the cover should be. Granted, the last cover also blew a major plot point, but I think that's an exception.

The covers have showed a great many things that never appear in the books. Why would anyone expect them to change now?

We also discussed the cover of HFQ and all the covers in the series in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6749&p=182624

It might have blown a plot point, but the actual scene depicted (Merlin and Nimue studying a hologram of a warship) never actually appeared in the book itself. Likewise, odds are that a skimmer actually firing on a wooden ship (in front of witnesses no less) won't appear anywhere in HFQ at all. |

The fact that a scene that violates the textev so drastically pretty much guarantees that it won't! "Oh bother", said Pooh as he glanced through the airlock window at the helmet he'd forgotten to wear. |
