From what I can tell, EVERYONE in the Command Crew went "off script" one way or another.
I cannot factually refute you claim, Sir. But I'm sure there must be at least one member of the command crew who didn't go off script.
Langhorne probably had him spaced early. Call it a malfunctioning airlock or something.
