It is only when the drool stage becomes rampant that the curtain will stir ... tonight, perhaps, perhaps not, but only the great and all powerful wizard can say. However, with each minute, February comes closer.

Caution then, once the feast is consumed, we poor addicts will be back here, looking for a 'fix' of our addiction!

Patience Grasshopper, it is just around 1915 here in his native timezone and RFC generally posts after Midnight so I'd go ahead and 'risk' it for some sleep.

If it's that bad, I may have to suggest to RC that he cuts you off cold turkey.

Waiting for Mr Weber's literary outpourings-

The wait...the satiation...the wait...the satiation...the wait...etc

Odi et amo. quare id faciam, fortasse requiris?
nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior
.

Impatience goads
yet still I wait,
compelled by need
to satiate.

My addiction needs its fix, even if its a day early. My addiction doesn't handle waiting 10 full days very well. It certainly doesn't handle publication delays well. We could have read the whole book at least three months ago.

If you read the Honorverse books in addition to the Safehold series, then you could get a fix from the "Cauldron of Ghosts" snippets which just started. In fact, a new one was posted in the snippets forum earlier tonight.

Already read it and am checking with Baen regularly to see if the EARC is available yet. But as enjoyable as that may be, it is not an Honorverse mainline. I enjoy the Flint/Weber books, I'll probably eventually read the Zahn/Weber books and I do read the Stephanie Harrington series, but none of them qualify as addicting. Addicting is currently limited to Safehold and Weber only Honorverse.
