How are any of you seeing the preview samples. I've tried all combinations of ordering and not ordering both the kindle and hardcopy version but I've yet to see the "Send a sample" option.

That's strange. I just logged on with my Amazon ID and didn't get any "Look inside" option at all. So I logged out and tried again. Same result.

The See inside is a small tab just above the image of the cover...
I have pre-ordered both the kindle and hardcopy of the book.
I buy a lot of stuff from amazon....
I have been buying a lot of stuff from Amazon since they first opened.

Given that it let me preview pretty much most of the book with scattered 3 to 5 page chunks missing.
Mild Spoiler warning.

Strange thing is it let me read the section that RFC provided with Clyntahn and Merlin, except the part that was in the snip-it.... It looks like there is a nice twist in this book that complicates the overall plot line with respect to overthrowing the church.

What country are you in? Perhaps Amazon has not released preview texts to all locations.

I live in the USA and I've gotten to read the previews too!! WOW! Makes up for the lack of snippets! It is filled with new information. Just and FYI I have preordered both the hard copy and kindle versions.

I just finished reading the amazon materials. Got me up to the 180s, minus some key pages.

Thank you again, RFC. My snippet addiction is satisfied, and I should... should... be able to hold out until the release date without suffering severe withdrawal symptoms.

Has anyone heard anything about the Audiobook version? It hasn't shown up on Audible yet, but I do see that Oliver Wyman is narrating again ( :D ), according to the CD information.

That's true at least for Germany. But I logged into my Amazon.com account and got some text (with brakes inbetween, naturally) until page 227 or so via the "surprise me"-functionality ... nice ;)

It also includes portions of the glossary. Particularly of note is a new weapon nicknamed the "Kau-yung Striker." Not saying anything else because this is not a spoiler thread...

Pull it up on Amazon.com. When you hold the curser over the image of the cover, the icon "look inside" should pop up. Left click on the image of the cover and it should open.
