Nope, that's the "A Division of Roadrunner Industries" attribution.

For what it's worth, Marvin's equipment is from
ACE, not ACME -- and his generally works fine, as opposes to "Duck Dodger's" ACME equipment.

Hey, it worked in planet of the apes, right? We're going to be talking about a relative few personalities here, and Clinton's manpower advantage might prove sufficient. If one guy with a gun can take down 10 with clubs, what's he gonna do about 11 through 15, right?

Does it happen? Only The One knows, but I'd argue that it plausible, even if it's only an attempt that fails.

Except that if I am Archangel who has just come out of suspended animation, and want to take down Clyntahn, I am going to make sure I have superior firepower at hand. The easiest way might well be to call Clyntahn in to praise his handling of the crisis, whip out a 45 or the 23rd century equivalent (I hesitate to say blaster, because there is no textev for them, and even if they existed would Langhorne have allowed them to continue to exist), and shoot him n the head, and proclaim he was executed for offenses against God.

That's why you take down Clyntahn in a private audience. When you announce it, there may well be guys 2-10 who want to come after you, but guys 11-30 are going to go after them, since they will believe that the Archangel is infallible, and besides, the Clyntahn is dead.

I can only locate two drawings of Marvin's ray gun with lettering.
Both show ACME not ACE.
The rest just show the gun design.
ACE hardware (in Western US) sold a toy ray gun (sound effect) a long time ago. But you should point out that it's PU-36 in all but one cartoon. Mel Blank misread the line. Pew-36 or poo-36.

I have thought that it would be amusing to see an encounter between Schueler (ancestor of the Wylsynns) and Clyntahn. I don't think Clyntahn would enjoy the encounter.

As for the idea that the Safehold Church knows that Archangels can be fallible and might "argue" with the Archangels, while some like Clyntahn might "openly disagree", IMO the majority of the Safehold Clergy would believe that the Archangels came from God and God was not happy with them.

In addition, as has been mentioned, the text evidence in OAR is that Archangels have high-tech weapons so they'd be able to "make examples" of some of the clergy.

While Clyntahn isn't likely to accept their authority, I doubt that he'd have much support from the rank and file members of the Inquisition.

If he's lucky, the Archangels would just kill him.

Can you imagine Clynthan being ordered around and appreciating it ? I can't. I think he would do practically anything to stop something like this to happen.

What do you think ?

Here's a scene I'd love (even if it doesn't happen)

Clyntahn: "Who the Shan-wei are you?"

Schueler: "I am the Archangel Schueler. My loyal servant Samyl Wylsynn dines at my table. On the other hand, you shall share Shan-wei's punishment." Then Schueler shoots Clyntahn.

Old Folk moment :( The supplier of Marvin's disintegrating pistol in "Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 century" is A-1, not ACE. "Martian Matomic" supplies the planet smasher. All of Duck Dodgers' stuff is by ACME (and for the most part works better than Wile E. Coyote's stuff.)

I didn't track down any of Marvin's encounters with Bugs, though.
