I'm pretty sure RFC has written that Langhorne's ship is 'gone', in the context that the other ships ended up in the local sun.

He did say that it was gone. But he also said it was the last one, and was still around during the angelic wars. It was used to make the current version of the Rakurai. He was silent when people asked exactly what he meant by "gone", but he often does not respond to direct questions. He has also hinted that we will find out what happened to the Hamilton. You can interpret this in many ways.

I think you mean the Hamilcar.

But yes, he's been keeping quiet on the fate of the Hamilcar.

Hamilcar may have been preserved, we know Langhorne was against it but, who knows what the survivors of his faction decided. As noted RFC knows and we will find out if it has eventually. Could there be an Arch Angele PICA? Again we will have to wait to find out. Is it possible, yes. Is it sure, no.

I can anticipate RFC's answer if he deigns to answer: "Dumb-te-dum."

Well, if the ship still exists it probably contains the returning arch-angels. It kinda makes sense. Send the ship on an ballistic course for a 1000 year roundtrip with the surviving members in cryo.

I sat down and tried to remember all the "dead horse" topics in the Honorverse forum the other day. I came up with 11 off the top of my head. I didn't try counting the ones here. Anyone care to give it a try?
